If you have filed your tax return for 2018 or 2019, you can check the status of your financial impact payment in the Get My Payment section. If you have submitted your 2019 tax return and it has not been processed yet, you can get the status of 'No Payment Status'.
If you have used a non-filing tool, you can go to the Get My Payment page and check the payment status of your financial impact within two weeks. If you have to file a 2019 tax return and use a non-filing tool, it can delay the processing of your tax return and delay the payment of financial impact.
If you are an SSA-1099, RRB-1099, SSI, or VA beneficiary and have not refunded or used a non-filing tool, you can check the status of financial impact in getting My Payment.

Both spouses can receive my payment by submitting their information to the security questions used to verify their identity. Once confirmed, both spouses will see the same payment status.
When you get a "Need More Info" and are looking for your direct deposit information, you will need to enter Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) and the withdrawal amount or amount you entered will appear on your joint tax return.
The AGI can be found in line 8b on your 2019 form 1040 or 1040-SR or inline 7 inline 1040 before 2018.
The loan amount can be found on Form 1040 of 2019 or 1040-SR on line 21A or on Form 1040 of 2018 on line 20A.
The amount owed can be found on Form 239 1040 or 1040-SR or inline 22 of Form 2018 on Form 1040.
Your payment can only be forwarded to a bank account if you have made the notification together.
